It was New Year's Eve in Ottawa and for the first time in ages(so they say), we've had fireworks. They were quite an event, I must say, even though they were quite a ways earlier than 12:00. I was actually going to leave my camera at home for this one, but my wife asked me for pictures of them and I'm not going to turn down a request to take photos. We weren't quite early enough getting there to beat the crowd, so my location wasn't the best, but hey.. gotta make do with what you got. I tried to include the tree into the shot some how and this is one of the ones I liked alot.
