I was at Tyler's and we decided to fix his wife's scroll wheel support. Turns out, all you have to do is add these three lines to the mouse section of your xorg.conf.

	Option "CorePointer"
	Option "EmulateWheel"
	Option "EmulateWheelButton" "2"
